The Yonex Ezone is one of the world's most popular tennis rackets and a natural choice for both professional and ambitious players. The series is used by over 12% of the top 200 players on the ATP and WTA tours (October 2024), including Nick Kyrgios, Casper Ruud, Ben Shelton, Jessica Pegula, Naomi Osaka, and Tokito Oda.
Through close collaboration with elite players, Yonex has developed a racket that delivers world-class performance – with improved feel, control, and power. The eighth generation of the Ezone features two major innovations that further elevate the game.
Energizing ISOMETRIC™
The iconic ISOMETRIC frame has been refined to provide an even larger sweet spot – up to 7% larger than the previous model. Improvements include a longer frame at the top for increased precision, a wider profile for more power and responsiveness, and an extended taper on the inside of the frame for improved flexibility and ball feel.
Minolon – next-generation vibration dampening
A new high-tech material from Kowa Company Ltd., placed between the graphite layers in the shaft. Provides 5.8% better vibration dampening than previous models and offers an exceptionally soft and comfortable feel in every shot – without compromising power or control.
Yonex Technologies – for an optimal playing experience
- VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh) – elastic mesh material around the grip's graphite core that effectively reduces unwanted vibrations and improves precision.
- 2G-Namd Speed – advanced graphite construction that generates high shot speed without losing feel or comfort.
- Liner Tech – straight grommet holes that optimize power and durability, especially on off-center hits.
- OPS (Oval Pressed Shaft) – shaft profile that increases spin, control, and contact time by flexing at ball impact.
- Shockless Grommets – absorb shock and reduce stress on joints and muscles with every shot.
